Psalms 4:4 Stand
in awe, and sin not:
commune with your
own heart upon
your
bed, and be
still.
Selah.
Many people
today fail
to understand the Grace
and
the
Mercy
of God. They manily
do not
realize
that
we, the Body
of
Christ, are
actually
in the
Age of Grace, which the
Apostle Paul
revealed as
the
Grace
of God. They can not
see,
nor
understand the distinction that
is
in
place
between the
New Man, or
the
Inner
Man, and
that of the
Outer
Man,
or the
Flesh. They
mainly look in the wrong areas of the
Word
of God when
the subject of
Sin is brought up. Most
do, as the
denominations do, and
run
right back
to
the
Law which
was given to
Moses to give to the Children of
Israel. Many
run to the four Gospels
to go
and find
something to
apply
to their lives.
This I know
for a fact. My
entire religious family
does it
all
the
time, as
well as
most of the people
I grew up
with in
the West
Virgina, Ohio, and
Kentucky
areas.
I even
found it to
be true in
Tennessee and
in North
Carolina. Man's
religion has
dominated those
in
the
Body of
Christ, those who
have not
believed in vain,
and also
have
dominated
those who are
just
religious
and have
never
truely
believed on Christ for
their
salvation.
We, the true believers,
those who have not believed in vain,
can Stand
in awe, and sin
not! Stand in
amazement
of all
God
has
given us,
the forgiveness
of
sins,
both to
the
sin nature,
and the
fruits
thereof,
which
are the sins
we do,
and just stand
in the Grace that God Himself has
extended toward
us, and when we do
that, we can stay
away from sin.
Thus Stand
in awe, and sin
not.
Since according to John
4:24
"God is a Spirit: and they
that worship him must
worship him in spirit
and
in
truth."does apply to us,
the
Body of Christ, we, as individual members of
the body
can "commune
with your
own heart" as in
Psalms 4:4.
The new man
inside is
the
fruit of
the
Holy
Ghost, thus the
believer
has been
reconciled inwardly
unto
God,
so
"they
that worship
him
must
worship him in
spirit
and
in
truth".
You do not need a denomination
or a preacher to tell you differently. You do not need to
allow them
to
rob you
of your
real
identity
in
Christ,
which
is a saint. They call you a believer. They
call
you a
Christian, and
those you
are, but
the new
man
is
a new
creation, which
is
perfect, and is a
Saint.
Do
not forget who
you are.
They well
rob you
of
your
title, if given
the
chance, and that is all up
to
you. Do not think because it is a church or a
preacher that they will not. They will!
Now you may still
not
understand how you can SIN NOT.
Right?
According
to
Ezekiel
18:4c "the soul
that
sinneth, it shall
die."
Right? But,
something
happened
to your
soul
when
you were saved!
You
were saved,
right? Sure, i
f you believed
on
the finished works of
the Lord Jesus
Christ
that He
did at
the Cross of
Calvary for the
sins of
the
world,
and
trusted on Him for
salvation,
you
are!
Again, you may
still
not understand how you can SIN
NOT.
According to 2 Corinthians
5:17
"Therefore if
any man be in Christ, he
is a new
creature: old things are
passed
away; behold, all things
are become
new." But what
does that have to do with SIN NOT? Look
and read the below
verses from
Romans
7.
Romans 7:15
"For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I."Romans 7:16 "If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good."
Romans 7:17 "Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me."
Romans 7:18 "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not."
Romans 7:19 "For
the good that I would I do not: but the evil
which I would
not, that I
do."
Romans
7:20 "Now if
I do
that I
would not, it is no
more I
that do it, but sin
that
dwelleth in
me."
Paul is showing us the distinction between the
New Man,
or
the Inner Man, and
that of the
Outer Man,
or the
Flesh. What I hate, that
do I.
What is
that? SIN!
Yet it
is the flesh
that does
it, not
the
new
man, or the
inner man.
Look
at verse 17, "Now
then it is no more I
that do it,
but sin that
dwelleth in
me." Do you see the
distinction? The New or Inner
Man hates Sin, and
loves the Law of
God. The
New
Creature is
sinless and
pefect. Look at verse
20, "Now if I do that I
would
not, it is no more I that do
it, but sin
that
dwelleth in
me." Paul is
showing us that
our
flesh is still sinful, but the
new
man
can
not sin!
That's
why according to
the Old
Testament, "the soul
that
sinneth, it shall
die."
The
new
man
can
not sin. You
want some back
up
on that? Look at
what Christ
Himself said
in the
Gospel
according
to John, John
6:37
"
Ephesians 1:7
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to theThrough the shed Blood of
Christ you already have the redemption of sins. You
already have all
of
the
forgiveness of your sins,
that is if you
have not
believed
in vain. You are a Saint of
God, and you
are
already
forgiven, and that
is
why your new man can not sin, thus,
"Stand
in
awe, and sin
not" Stand
in
the Grace of
God, and Give Him
the Glory, the
Honor, and the
Praise! "Stand
in
awe, and sin
not".
God Bless,
