"Transponder" DEFINITION = An automatic device that receives,
amplifies, and retransmits a signal on a different
frequency (see also broadcast
translator).
In a world of the media, with colors, sounds, pictures, videos,
and broadcasts, most of us have at one point or another
have probably
heard
the term
"transponder". Most may
not know the
meaning of it. Above
I have it
listed. Why
have I done
this? Well...our culture &
our media broadcast
media that we all react to, in one way or another. Our
reactions can be good, by
mans
terms, or they can be
seen
as
bad. There is another
aspect to take
notice.
One I have
very recently become more conscience of. Our culture and
Media, with all
of it's affects, can cause our sinful
fleshly bodies, which are vile, to wake up and
react
to what it hears and sees, and
senses.
Our Apostle Paul warns all of us, the Memebers of the Body of
Christ in Galatians 5:16, which reads, "This I say then,
Walk in the
Spirit,
and ye shall
not fulfil the lust
of the flesh."
This is where many
true, saved,
forgiven
believers fail
on a daily basis. Can you do
anything, and still go
to
Heaven? Yes you can. Sould you do
sinful things because
Christ took away the
sin of the
World? God
forbid, or
in a more modern saying...NO!
Stepping outside of Pauline doctrine to notice what John, who is
too Israel, and the "little flock", has to say about the
flesh, and
how it
reacts to the
world around it, says
in 1 John
2:16 "For all that
is in the
world, the
lust of the
flesh, and the lust of the
eyes, and the pride of
life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." From
what I have quoted, even
from an
Apostle who is not
in
our
Dispensation, who is
not even
writting to us, we
can see
that John has knowledge of the issues with the flesh.
Just
like Paul,
who is our
Apostle, in this, the
Dispensation of the Grace
of
God.
With our vile fleshly bodies, if left to not be controlled by
the New Man, through the Renewing of the Mind, we can end
up acting as
those
who are lost,
that are the children
of
disobedience, who are waiting for
the
wrath of God. We,
as the
memebers of the Body of
Christ, must always be on
guard, that is why our Apostle Paul warns us in 2
Corinthians 13:7 "Now I pray
to God
that ye do no evil;
not that we should appear
approved, but that ye
should
do that
which is honest,
though we be as reprobates." Paul warns
us not
to
do
evil. So can we
still sin? Yes. Should we,
considering it is all paid
for?
NO!
Paul even tells us in Romans 12:21, that we are to "Be not
overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Paul,
concerning the words
of
wisdom to
us in 1 Corinthians
10:6, tells us
that the scriptures of
the Old
Testament
"...were our
examples, to the intent we
should not lust after evil
things, as they also lusted." This was dealing with the
Jews in the Old
Testament, who had
been placed
on
record as having
lusted after evil
things.
We, the
saved are already
forgiven, and we
are not to "lust after evil things,
as
they
also lusted."
Even our words must be guarded. Paul points out in 1 Corinthians
15:33, that we are to "Be not deceived: evil
communications corrupt
good
manners." We must remember
that
according to Galatains 1:4, the Lord Jesus
Christ,
"Who gave himself for our
sins, that he might
deliver
us from this
present evil world, according to the will of
God and our
Father:" Not doing and
not speaking evil is the will
of
God and our Father. In reference to evil
speaking,
Paul warns us through
Ephesians 4:31, by telling us to, "Let all
bitterness, and
wrath, and anger, and clamour, and
evil speaking, be
put
away from you, with all malice:"
Infact, according to Ephesians 5:16, we
are
to be
"Redeeming the time,
because the days are evil." If you watch the
media, and
can not see that this is
true, you need more
time
in
daily
study
of the Word of Truth.
Our Apostle Paul even tells all of us, the Memebers of the Body
of Christ, in Colossians 3:5, to "Mortify therefore your
members which
are
upon the
earth; fornication,
uncleanness,
inordinate affection,
evil
concupiscence, and
covetousness,
which is idolatry:" These in
verse five
can
all still be done, and we are to mortify our members,
or
reckon our flesh dead
to these
desires, which still exist
in
our bodies. To deny it is
a
lie. To
deal with it is
prudent
and wise, or those who are lost around us will see us
doing that which we
ought not be doing, and they will
say that we are
hypocrites. Kill the
desires, or they will
kill our
testimony before others.
It's an
issue of
testimony, not
if we can still go to
Heaven. It's an issue
of that
according to Ephesians 1:7 "In whom we have
redemption
through his
blood,
the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his
grace;" It cost
Christ His
Blood,
for Our Sins!
That's the
issue. The Law makes you focus
on
your sins.
Grace makes you
accountable, because His Blood
bought you
in full.
Ephesians 4:4 "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;"
