I know it's the Word of God because it works in my life. Does it work in
yours?
Romans 10:17 -So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God.
(Not one of the words but THE Word.)
Hebrews 4:12,13 -For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his
sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we
have to do.
Word of God (written Word) is put into the male gender(His) rather that the
neuter(it) gender. Do we say our book at home is in its or his shelf?
Romans 9:17 -For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same
purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my
name might be declared throughout all the earth.
The Scripture sayeth? There were no Scriptures before Pharaoh.
John 1:1 -In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God.
This says "the Word was God."
Isaiah 40:21,22 -Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been
told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the
earth? It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants
thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and
spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
How did they know the Earth was round?( Remember Columbus?) Isaiah was
written in 760 B.C.
Nahum 2:3 -The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are
in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his
preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken. The chariots shall rage
in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they
shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.
Cars predicted?
Job 25:5 -Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are
not pure in his sight.
Tells us the moon doesn't shine.
Job 40:15-18 -Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass
as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of
his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped
together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of
iron.
Did dinosaurs exist?
John 3:34 -For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God
giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
If God says the messenger is to speak the words of God, He must have the
words. TEST** Does your Bible read 1 John 5:7 like this....For there are three
that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one. If it reads differently, it is a counterfeit version of the
Bible!
John 14:23 -Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will
keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make
our abode with him.
How can we keep His words if we do not have them?
Matthew 24:35!!! -Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not
pass away.
I John 5:11 -And this is the record, that God hath given to us
eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
God gave us a record.
