Qualifications of a preacher???

| Why do so many of the "brethren" believe the |
| qualifications of a preacher dissallows a remarried |
| man from honoring the call to preach? |

| Tis a Complex question, And there is no easy answer. |
| Let me put forth this ... in a partial answer: |
| 1. Hardnes of heart toward God, and to HIS BOOK. |
| 2. An unwilliness to believe what God said, Where HE said it, And to whom HE said it. |
| 3. On reflex MAN clings to TRADITION above the BOOK. |
| 4. Man often rejects HIS "called" preachers (like Jeremiah)... in times of spiritual declension. |
| 5. The Brethren have two natures [the old nature is still present, and "pops up" now and then]. |
| 6. The temptation to elevate one qualification to the neglect, or lessening of, all the other qualifcations in the list. [MAN oftens gets things out of wack]. |
| 7. The desire on the part of the Brethren to control another brother. |
