GOD CREATED THE HEAVENLY BEINGS
From the highest, in rank, to the lowest they are:

Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, & Angels.

(Neh 9:6) Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

(Psa 148:1) Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. (Psa 148:2) Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

(Col 1:16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

CHERUBIMS

(Gen 3:24) So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

(2 Ki 19:15) And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

(Psa 99:1) The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

(Isa 37:16) O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

DESCRIPTION OF:

(Ezek 10:14) And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

(Ezek 1:10) As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

SERAPHIM

(Isa 6:2) Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
TWO KINDS OF ANGELS
GOOD - (1 Tim 5:21) I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

BAD - (2 Pet 2:4) For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

(Jude 1:6) And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
ANGELS ACT AS MESSENGERS
(Job 1:6) Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

(1 Ki 22:19) And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

(Psa 68:17) The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

    (1 Cor 11:7-10) For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. SONS OF GOD - DEFINED IN N.T. (BELIEVERS)
