Salvation seems so complicated these days:

baby baptism, immersion water baptism, speaking in tongues, join a church, take communion, confirmation class, making a commitment to Christ, asking Jesus into your heart, confess your sins, stop sinning, love everybody, agree to disagree, etc.

New bibles complicate it:  "everyone who believes will not die but have eternal life... John 3:16?
New bibles complicate it:  "It's terribly hard to get into God's kingdom..."  Mark 10:24
New bibles complicate it:  harder level of reading; doctrines changed & removed, etc.
New bibles complicate it:  "difficult is the way..." Matthew 7:14
New bibles complicate it:  a few versions already tell people TO take the mark of the beast!  Revelation 13:18 - NLT; Ephesians 1:13 - NIV
New bibles complicate it:  the Message bible brings in the New Age - the spirit of antichrist blatantly and makes Christ a master who wears a lotus wreath and is called the Green One!  The modern bibles are preparing the world for the arrival of the antichrist in Revelation 6 and for the harvest of the tares to be bundled for burning!  Matthew 13:24-30

SIMPLE SITUATION

• You are 'lost!'  II Corinthians 4:3 - But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
• You are damned!  II Thessalonians 2:12 - That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
• You are already condemned! John 3:18 - He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
• Thanks Adam & Eve!  Romans 5:12 -Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
• Dead!  Romans 7:9 - For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

• You are blind! II Corinthians 4:4 - In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
• Even if you say you are a Christian, you could be deceived! II Corinthians 11:4 - For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

SIMPLE SINNER

• Romans 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
• Romans 3:9-12  What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:  There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.  They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
• Romans 5:18a  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation...
• (remember, when you are saved, you are no longer referred to as a sinner...)

SIMPLE SENTENCE

• Romans 6:23 -  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
• Revelation 20:14,15 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

• II Timothy 1:10 - But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
• Titus 2:13 - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
• Titus 3:5-7 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
