Paul's Preaching Exposes a 'Purpose Driven' Lie

taken from the latest mailing received from Purpose Driven brochure - October 14, 2005

Their goals:

to fulfill the Great Commission
(we have already talked about that at great length over the past 3 years, eh - too bad the Bible Believing Baptists are falling right into the hands of this false gospel of the Purpose Driven crowd by claiming to be so "spirit-led" as they turn further and further away from their KJB.)

to fulfill the Great Commandment
Matthew 22:36-40

	as a lost person - pre-Paul, etc.	from Paul's preaching Epistles
*all thy heart*	heart is wicked and deceitful	Christ must go into heart, etc.
*all thy soul*	soul is lost - dead in sin - attached to flesh	cut away from the flesh
*all thy mind*	mind is defiled and seared	the mind of Christ - in the KJB

Now to top it off, according to Matthew 22:40, those two commandments 'hang all the law...'

However, according to Paul in Romans 6:14, 7:6, 7:8; Galatians 2:19 and 2:21, we are no longer under the law, we are delivered from the law, we are dead to the law.

By following Purpose Driven philosophy, one can not please God at all.
Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

If righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain, because according to Romans 10:4, for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Purpose Driven drivel doesn't preach / teach the rightly divided word for today.
They preach a false Christ, a false spirit, a false gospel...
