| What Is It To Be a Christian Today? |
But I fear, lest by
any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted
from the simplicity that is in Christ.
II Corinthians 11:3
We begin a series looking at
Paul's preachings and teachings
to see how it is we should be in order to 'be' a
Christian.
The
Effect of Righteousness
The
Wisdom of Quietness
And the work of righteousness shall
be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance
for ever.
And my people shall dwell in a
peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting
places;
Isaiah 32:17,18
Can this be possible in our own home? in
our own local church? in our own personal 'inner' life?
Sure thing!
God's righteousness for our
inner peace
and
Our own righteousness for our daily 'practical'
life...
...I'll say it again, as we follow Paul, NOT the gospels
